ASVAB Exploration Program
The ASVAB Career Exploration Program was developed with input from a panel of career development experts and designed to encourage students to increase their level of self-knowledge and to understand how that information could be linked to civilian and military occupational characteristics.

California Conservation Corps
The California Conservation Corps is a workforce development program that offers young men and women the chance to serve their state and become employable citizens through life skills training and hard work in environmental conservation, fire protection, and emergency response. The CCC has both residential and non-residential programs and centers. The Corps is a department within the state Resources Agency, and is not affiliated with any state or county correctional system. The California Conservation Corp accepts applicants from 18 to 25 year old. A drug and background test must be passed for participation in this program.

Center of Employment Center
The Center for Employment Training (CET) is one of the country's largest, most effective educational, and employment training programs, focused on those who need help the most. A nonprofit organization, CET was established in San Jose, California in 1967 and has grown to a national network of 31 vocational educational centers operating in 11 states, and Washington D.C. Working with the private sector, CET has successfully trained and placed more than 100,000 people into jobs, over the last 37 years. Current programs offered in Riverside, California, are CNC Machine Set-Up Operator, Light Gauge Welding, Machine Tool Operator, and Welding Fabrication.

Job Corps
Job Corps is a no-cost education and vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 24 get a better job, make more money, and take control of their lives. At Job Corps, students enroll to learn a trade, earn a high school diploma or GED and get help finding a good job. When you join the program, you will be paid a monthly allowance; the longer you stay with the program, the more your allowance will be. Job Corps provides career counseling and transition support to its students for up to 12 months after they graduate from the program. A drug and background test must be passed for participation in this program.
Riverside County Fire Explorer Program
The Riverside County Fire Department Fire Explorer Program is a youth program organized through Learning For Life. The program is designed to allow males and female youth, between the ages of 14 and 20, to explore a career in the fire service. The explorers receive training similar to volunteer and professional firefighters, including basic fire chemistry, hose evolutions, ladder operations, medical and CPR training, hazardous materials, and auto extrication. The training program is intense and demanding, however the rewards are increased character and the understanding of what it takes to pursue a career in the fire service.
Riverside County Sherrif Explorer Program
The Riverside Police Department Explorer Post is a group of young people, ages 14-21, who have an interest in learning about law enforcement as a possible career. Explorers learn about the law, court procedures, police patrol techniques and organizational skills. Upon meeting requirements, Explorers are allowed to ride along in the field with a patrol officer and respond to police calls, participating in the normal routines of community policing and interacting with the community. This provides an opportunity for Explores to get a first-hand perspective of the reality of modern law enforcement.

Cal State University of San Bernardino
California State University, San Bernardino is one of the fastest growing universities in California, largely because of its expanding service area of San Bernardino and Riverside counties, which covers 27,000 square miles.
